Airport

Manchester Airport is the nearest International Airport to the hotel; located 2.4 miles away. Please contact Reception for further information.

Access to the Hotel at Night

For security purposes, the entrance to the hotel is locked after 11.00pm. If you are returning to the hotel after this time, please ring the bell in order to alert the Night Porter. 

Accessible Rooms

Universally accessible rooms are available. We also have a selection of rooms with separate showers if you struggle to climb in the bath.

Adapters and Phone Chargers

A range of adapters, phone chargers and extension cables are available from Housekeeping and Reception.

Baby Bed

We have some baby beds available, if you need one, please contact Reception.

Bath Mats, Bathrobes and face cloths.

Available from reception. Please dial 0 and they will be brought to your room.

Best Western Reservations and Guest Services

We are proud to be part of the Best Western Brand and you will find a Best Western Directory online at https://www.bestwestern.co.uk/. Please take a look at your leisure and reception will be happy to assist with any onwards reservations.

Car parking

The hotel car park is at your disposal on a complimentary basis for short stays. For longer stays parking charges will apply. We would like to inform you that the hotel is not liable for cars or any objects left in the car!

Church Services

Information on local churches and their service times can be obtained from reception.

Coffee machine

If you are in an Executive or Superior room you will find a Tassimo coffee machine to enhance your experience. Simply lift the grey lid, insert the pods provided, with the bar code facing down, close the lid and press go. For assistance or additional coffee please contact Reception or Housekeeping.

Conference and Banqueting

Our team can assist you to organise a meeting, conference, company Dinner Dance, Themed Banquet or a Gala Ball. Each event is treated individually to give you complete flexibility. Please contact either the Duty Manager or our Conference & Banqueting Team to view our different suites and to obtain further information. Sample menus and brochures are available upon request. 

Cash

We would prefer for payments to be made by credit or debit card in all areas of the hotel; however, we will take cash upon request.

Credit Cards

The hotel accepts Contactless, Mastercard, American Express, Visa, Switch and diners

Credit Facilities

Credit is only given by prior arrangement, for which our terms are payment upon presentation. This can only be arranged via head office. Please contact Reception for details.

Deep Cleaning

We appreciate that accidents can happen. Please do notify us of any incidents so that we can take care of it for you. However, should an external specialist be required the cost will be passed on to yourselves.

Do Not Disturb

In case you do not wish to be disturbed, please leave the “Do not disturb” sign on the outside doorknob. if you do not want to receive any telephone calls, please inform the reception. Internal room-to-room calls cannot be prevented!

Early Morning Call

If you require an early morning call please contact reception by dialling 0. The television in your room can also be set for an early morning call, select MENU, scroll to TIMER and set your desired time.

Electrical Outlets

Some of our bedrooms are fitted with energy saving devices. In order to activate the electrics within your bedroom please ensure your room card is inserted into the electrics slot by the bedroom door.

Essential Items

If you have forgotten any essential items, please contact reception, who will endeavour to assist.

Feminine Hygiene Products

For your convenience there is a vending machine located in the ladies’ bathroom opposite the main reception.

Fire

Please familiarise yourself with the fire plan displayed on the back of your bedroom door. In the event of an evacuation please make your way out through the nearest fire exit and rendezvous at the meet up point, which is situated out the front of the hotel, in the car park.

In the case of a fire, dial “0” or 9 999 immediately and break the glass of the nearest fire alarm point located in the corridor outside your room. Do not stop to collect any belongings. Leave the room immediately and close the door behind you.

First Aid and Doctors

Many of our team are qualified to deliver First Aid. We also have direct contact details for a number of local Dr’s and dentists if required. Please contact Reception on 0 if you require any assistance.

Flowers

Fresh flowers can be ordered from reception.

Foreign Exchange

We advise that you exchange currency at a local bank. Please ask reception for directions to the closest facility.

Hairdryers

A Hairdryer is located in your dressing table drawer or to the side of the dressing table.

Heating and Cooling

Please use the thermostat on the radiator to adjust the room temperature.

Fans are also provided and located in your wardrobe for convenience.

High Speed Internet Access / Lobby Computer

A free of charge wireless connection is available in all areas of the hotel. To log on select BW_Pinewood_WIFI and follow the on-screen instructions. Dial 0 if you have any issues connecting, we are here to help.

Hard wired internet access points are available in the lounge area 24 hours a day.

Unfortunately, as part of our COVID-19 safety measures, we have removed the lobby computer from guest use until further notice.

Ice

Ice can be brought to your room at no charge. Please contact the food and beverage team on 639 to arrange this.

In Room Safe

In the wardrobe you will find your in room safe along with the instructions of how to operate it.

Laundry Service

A dry-cleaning service is available Monday to Friday. Please place all laundry in the bag which can be found hanging in your wardrobe, please also complete the Laundry List which is in the top draw of your desk. Hand the laundry, and the list, to reception by 9am and it will be returned no later than 1pm the following day.

Leisure Facilities

Unfortunately, we do not have leisure facilities on site. However, we work in partnership with Total Fitness and all guests have complimentary access to the facility in Wilmslow. Please obtain a pass from reception and feel free to take your hotel towels with you.

Lost Property

All found items are stored in our Housekeeping department for 3 months. Please contact our Reception team if you are missing something.

Luggage Storage and Assistance (24hours)

Should you require luggage collection or storage, please contact reception for assistance. Storage is available free of charge – residents may store luggage as desired during their stay and for up to 6 hours after checkout.

Maintenance Issues

We pride ourselves on our product and take care of it at all times. However, should you find any issues with your room please contact Reception to advise us and we will aim to rectify your issue in the shortest time we can.

Medical Service/ Pharmacy

If you require medical help please contact Reception. The nearest pharmacy is located in Wilmslow Road. Please ask Reception for opening times and further assistance.

Meeting Room

There is a meeting room at your disposal subject to availability. Please contact Reception for further information.

Newspapers

Please order from reception and these will be delivered to your room.

Pets

Pets are not permitted within the hotel, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Photocopying and Faxes

Available 24 hours a day via reception. Faxes are charged at £1.25 per page for national transmission and £2.25 per page for international. Photocopying is charged at 10p per sheet, inclusive of VAT.

Safety and Security

Whilst stringent security measures are in place, the hotel cannot be held responsible for loss or theft of personal property left unattended in your room or in public areas.

Please ensure that your bedroom door is always closed and locked upon leaving your room and that your room key card is kept secure. Keep the hotel key card for charging items to your account.

Smoking

We are a non-smoking establishment. Smoking areas are to be found at the front and rear of the hotel. If you are found to be smoking in your room there will be a charge of £100 added to your account to help cover the cost of the room being out of order for 24 hours and deep cleaning.

Taxis

A 24-hour taxi service is available via reception. For large parties please book in advance. Please contact our reception team to order it for you.

Tea and Coffee Making Facilities

In your room, you will find complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Additional supplies are available from reception.

Telephone Charges

To get an outside line please dial 9.

UK calls are charged at £1.24 per minute

European calls are charged at £2.45 per minute

International calls are charged at £4.57 per minute

Television

Digital TV is available throughout the hotel. To select a channel, press the open book page, scroll up or down to the channel you require, and press OK.

Toiletries

If you require extra supplies please contact reception on “0”

Reception hold a stock of complimentary toothpaste/toothbrush, shaving kits, sewing kits, vanity kits and combs.

Tourist Information

Information on and directions to local attractions can be obtained via reception.

Towels

Should you require any additional towels please contact reception who will be happy to arrange this.

Windows

The bedroom windows are fitted with a limiting devise for your safety and security. Upon request these can be unlocked, please contact reception for assistance.
